Penn State football to launch official fan token on Socios.com

Penn State University’s football program is set to launch an official fan token on Socios.com, with the rollout expected before the end of 2026. According to Techub News, the token will let fans take part in voting, receive rewards, and access exclusive experiences. It will also support student-athletes’ NIL programs. The move is described as the first time fan tokens have been introduced in U.S. college sports. Five major universities are involved in the initiative, including Penn State, Texas A&M University, and Michigan State University. Socios.com currently has partnerships with more than 70 sports clubs worldwide.
